The latest notification on cbsenet.nic.in has finally declared the release of application forms for the CBSE UGC NET examinations. All candidates who aspire to hold the post of Assistant Professor or attain Junior Research Fellowship can now log on to the official website of UGC for filling out and submitting the CBSE UGC NET application forms online. The test, just like every year, is framed to be organized in the month of December. The form has been availed on the site on the 3rd of October, 2015, and has to be filled and submitted before the deadline for successful application to the test.

CBSE UGC NET December 2015 Exam Dates:-

The examination, known as the National Eligibility Test (NET), is conducted by the University Grant Commission (UGC) for the selection of deserving candidates who qualify for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor, for Junior research Fellowship, or for both, in colleges and universities across India. The test is carried twice each year, once in the month of June, and six months later in December. The chief responsibility of the exam lies in the hands of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) of India, and the NET June 2015 has successfully been completed with the application of a large number of candidates.

Since a large number of candidates appear in the test, in the months of June as well as December, the notification about the NET December 2015 had eagerly been awaited by many. The wait is now over, and the application forms for the examination are available on the website for online completion and submission. It is to be noted by all candidates who plan to apply for the exam, that the application can only be completed online, and by no other mode. Even though the exact dates of examination are not yet declared, the candidates can prepare for the test keeping in mind that it is to be held in the comiing December.

The application demands some educational qualifications for eligibility to appear in the test. The aspirant must have attained a Master’s Degree from any university recognized by the government, in a subject such as Humanities, Social Science, Computer Science, Electronics, etc. The minimum marks obtained in the postgraduate program must be 55% for the General category and 50% for OBC, SC, or PWD categories. Candidates who are in the final year of pursuing the Master’s degree, or have completed a Ph.D. may also apply for UGC NET 2015.

Moreover, there is no age limit for candidates who plan to apply for the post of Assistant Professor. Those candidates who wish to apply for the Junior Research Fellowship, however, need to be below 28 years of age. A relaxation of 5 years is permitted in the age limit for applicants who belong to either of OBC, SC, ST and PWD categories.

The schedule of the exam has not been officially declared yet, but is expected to be announced soon on the official website.
