Question: Am I eligible to study abroad?

Answer: To begin your journey as an international student, you have to go through various requirements. The academic requirements (including evidence of English language skills) you need to study abroad will vary depending on the level of education you want to pursue. For instance, some courses will require you to have done a foundation course before applying for a degree. All universities and schools can have different entry requirements, so read the course information on their respective websites very carefully.

How to Apply?

Question: When shall I apply to universities?

Answer: Every foreign university has their own admission period during a year. Some of them do admissions in two phases some in three and some do it only in one phase. Generally universities of the same country have same time period and number of phases. Hence, you should start your steps for admission process at least one year in advance for the respective intake. In some cases, you could begin these steps 3-4 months in advance as well.

Question: What do an application package means?

Answer: An application package consists of various documentations required for your admission purpose. It generally consists of Application form, fee structure, Transcripts, mark sheets, Essays and Financial aid forms.

Entry Qualifications

Question: What are the entry criteria to get admission into a course?

Answer: Every University has their own set of eligibility criteria they generally demands for certain academic scores, English proficiency, various entrance test requirements, relevant work experience etc. Your education counselor can help you identifying best program for you, as per your profile.

Question: What if one does not have at the minimum entry qualifications?

Answer: If someone doesn’t have qualification   for certain course, they are having options on the basis of their study programs

1) Undergraduate program: If the student is not having some of the formal qualifications then he/she can go for a Foundation or sandwich course, which usually lasts one academic year. Many colleges run the Foundation courses, as do many Universities.

2) Postgraduate program: Students who do not have a formal degree or relevant work experience, but have satisfied the course tutor that they have a flair for the particular course, may be admitted to a Postgraduate Certificate program. A PG Certificate program usually lasts six months and comprises the first semester of the appropriate master’s degree. On showing good performance in the postgraduate certificate program, one can claim admission to postgraduate diploma and subsequently to a master degree, without any waste of time.

Question: A Student who has scored less grades in high school but willing to study  abroad will he get the admission?

Answer: Yes, the person can get admission in abroad. There are several Universities abroad, they consider that the corresponding student must couldn’t concentrate on their studies and better they should be given a chance . They even consider the Indian education and academics system as they are in close co-ordination with them. These Universities will be definitely giving a second chance to the corresponding student.
