The Common Admission Test (CAT) held inNovember, 2015 is conducted every

year by Indian Institutes of Managements (IIMs) for admission to their PGP (Post Graduate Programs). This year, in 2015, the CAT was held on 29 November at various centers across the country. The CAT exam was held in two shifts. The CAT 2015 Result is expected to be declared in the second week of January, 2016 but no sure date has yet been released.

The CAT 2015 was conducted by IIM Ahmedabad. Some changes were made to the pattern than previous years and made some significant changes in question asking pattern. between the sections was not allowed. A total of 100 questions were asked and a total of 180 minutes for answering the same. Thus, the CAT Result Nov 2015 are in for a shocker.

The CAT Result 2015 are expected to be declared in the second week of January, as being wide popularized. This year, an addition of 6 new IIMs has thrown the race wide open for candidates vying for a seat in IIMs hence eagerly waiting for CAT Exam results.

The CAT 2015 Result will carry the composite score, which will be normalized across sections and shifts. The CAT result 2015 will also carry the section wise percentiles, overall percentiles The CAT 2015 Score Card will be on the lines that the three sections viz. Quantitative ability, logical reasoning and Data Interpretation, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension had equal marks. The MCQs did not bear any negative marking in the CAT 2015 result.

The process to check the CAT Nov 2015 result:

  1. Login to your account on the CAT website : iimcat.ac.in
  2. Click on CAT 2015 result
  3. Download the CAT 2015 Score Card and take its print out.

No hard copy of the result shall be sent to you by IIM A, thus you need to keep a copy of the CAT 2015 result print out with you for all future references. Taking the CAT result into account, a total of 19 IIMs will shortlist candidates for further selection process. The shortlisted candidates will then have to appear for Written ability test(WAT)/ GD and Personal Interview. This year a total of 1,79,602 number of candidates appeared out of over 2 lakh candidates and are eagerly waiting for their CAT 2015 result.

  • IIM A: major overhaul in selection process. Expected cut off percentile 99.5%
  • IIM B: takes into account past academics like 10th, 12th and graduation score.
  • IIM C: 67% weightage to CAT 2015 result and 30% weightage to academics.
  • IIM Lucknow and IIM Khozikhode: 75-80% weightage of CAT 2015 result score.
  • New IIMS: anything above 95-96% would be good wnough to land a call in any of the new IIMs.
  • IIT Bombay(SJSOM): 99%ile+
  • FMS Delhi and IIT Delhi: 99%ile+
