IIT JAM 2016 Exam Syllabus- The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) has recently released a notification regarding the organization of IIT JAM Exam. IIT JAM 2016 Exam Syllabus

IIT JAM 2016 Exam Pattern:

The paper may be descriptive or objective on the basis of the relevant subject.

Objective Type: It consists of 100 questions of one mark each, with a negative marking of 1/3rd mark in case of wrong answers.

Descriptive Type: It consists of two parts:

  • Part-I: 60 marks made up of 1-mark and 2-mark multiple-choice questions. Negative marking of 1/3rd or 2/3rd for wrong answers.
  • Part-II: 40 marks subjective paper, with no negative marking.
