NEET Phase 2 Paper Analysis 2016 and NEET 2 Exam Review 2016- The CBSE Board had conducted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) phase 2 paper yesterday i.e. 24th July. Around 90% of the 4.7 lakh registered students have appeared for the exam at various examination centres all across the country. As per majority of the appeared candidates, the NEET Phase 2 was much tougher as compared to the Phase 1.

The NEET 2016 Paper Analysis for Phase 2 is as follows:

The NEET examination has three subject sections which includes Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. All the questions asked in the exam focus on these three subject areas only. As per the norm, the questions are decided from the NCERT Syllabus.

NEET 2016 Exam Review For Phase 2

Let’s start with the Physics Section Review:

Physics: Physics for NEET Phase 2 is calculative where the concepts were tough and the calculations were lengthy demanding lots of time from the candidate. There were around 22 questions from the class 11th syllabus and 23 questions from class 12th syllabus. Question paper was considered as tough and all the concepts were also not from NCERT Syllabus.

Chemistry: The Phase 2 Chemistry questions were of higher level as compared to that of phase 1. Some of the questions were out of syllabus and beyond the scope of the NCERT syllabus. Numerical were formula based and were easy. There was one question which had two correct options (Code-AA, Q.67).  The question paper hasn’t covered the entire syllabus. There were chapters like Chemistry in Everyday Life, Environmental Chemistry etc. which were not covered in the exam.

Biology: The Biology paper was of standard level and it the syllabus of class 11th and 12th was covered in a balanced way. It was a blend of simple, average and difficult questions where all the important chapters were also covered. Still there were a few questions which were beyond the NCERT syllabus.

Overall, as per the industry expert’s NEET Phase 2 Paper analysis 2016, the exam was of tougher level as compared to the Phase 1 and it’s going to be a tough competition for the candidates who have appeared for it.
