A notification regarding the NIFT 2016 Admission has been released by the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT). The date on which the NIFT Entrance Exam is to be conducted has also been declared. NIFT 2016 Application Form Details:-

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has decided to hold its entrance exam on 14^th February 2016. The NIFT 2016 Exam date has been finalized. So, the candidates must start preparation for that. The following undergraduate programs of the institute will admit students through this exam:

Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.F.Tech.) –

NIFT Admission Process:-

The admission procedure will involve three stages as listed below:

• Paper-Based Test (PBT)
• Situation Test
• Group Discussion and Interview

NIFT 2016 Eligibility Criteria

Several conditions of eligibility need to be met by the applicant to be permitted admission in NIFT through the entrance exam. Some of the most important eligibility requirements are specified here:

Age Limit – The candidate must not be above 23 years of age as on October 1, 2015. This age limit, however, is subject to relaxation of five years for candidates belonging to reserved categories comprising Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribe and Differently Abled Persons.

Minimum Academic Qualifications –

• For the course of Bachelor of Design (B.Des.), candidates must have passed their 10+2 exam.
• The course of Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.F.Tech) requires applicants to have passed their 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics included in the curriculum.

NIFT 2016 Entrance Exam Registration Form:-

The applications for the exam have begun from the 20^th of October 2015, and the form for application is available on the official website. The NIFT 2016 application form must be submitted on or before the deadline of January 10, 2016. The students also need to submit an application fee for the exam. The NIFT 2016 Registration fee is Rs.1500/- for students belonging to the General or OBC (Non-creamy) categories, while those belonging to the SC / ST / PHP categories have to submit a fee of Rs.750/-. The payment is to be made through either payment gateway or Demand Draft.
