Punjab Pre-Medical Entrance Test 2016 (Punjab PMET 2016 ) is conducted by Baba Farid University for Health Sciences . It offers the MBBS and BDS courses for the state of Punjab. Punjab PMET 2016 Result Declared:
The Punjab PMET 2016 Result was ideally to be released on 21st May, 2016 , had the exam been conducted on 15th May. But the Supreme Court stalled the exam stating all the states should accept the NEET 2016 scores for filling the Medical seats.

- Access University website www.bfuhs.ac.in
- Click on PMET-2016 RESULT.
- Click on INDIVIDUAL’S RESULT.
- Enter individual Roll No.
- Download/print individual result card
Punjab PMET 2016 Cut Off Marks:
The Punjab PMET 2016 Cut Off Marks , as usual , would depend upon the number of students who have attempted in the particular category; difficulty level of the exam and the number of seats.
Last year, the Punjab PMET 2015 Cut Off Marks was ( Category Wise) :
- General Category – 50 % of the marks
- Reserved Category – 40 % of the marks.

Counseling and seat allotment :
- The Punjab PMET 2016 Cut Off Marks differ Category Wise . Depending on your category, one has to acquire the specified cut off marks in order to just QUALIFY for the exam.
- Then, an Online Counseling session is conducted . If a candidate has secured more than the Cut Off marks , has to Rs. 3000/- as online counseling fee through bank challan from Oriental Bank of Commerce or HDFC Bank or Net Banking and give their preferences of colleges/quota/ category wise /specialty wise.
- The colleges will prepare their own merit list by sorting out the students who have preferred their college and stop the admissions as soon as the number of seats is filled. If not, consequent counseling sessions are announced .
