SSC CHSL 2016 Admit Card download | Exam from January 7

SSC CHSL 2016 Admit Card is now available. Exam dates are scheduled for January 7 and February 2017. SSC CHSL 10+2 Admit Card or hall ticket can be downloaded from the website.

SSC CHSL 2016 Admit Card:

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) had a released a notice on 8th October, 2016 about 5, 134 vacancies for Postal Assistants/Sorting Assistants, Data Entry Operators, Lower Divisional Clerks and Court Clerk. SSC conducts Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Examination for the recruitment of the following vacancies. SSC CHSL 2016 Admit Card is released for the Tier-1 Examination which is to be held from 7th January, 2017 – 8th February, 2017. SSC CHSL 2016 Admit Card was made available on the official website on 28th December, 2016 and can be downloaded according to the region from which you have applied.

Wishful Candidates appearing in Tier-1 can download the SSC CHSL Hall Ticket Region-wise and the link to the regional website is there on the official website. The result for Tier-1 will be released in the month of March/April. The exam for Tier-2 is scheduled on 9th April, 2017. Tier-1 is a Computer Based Exam while Tier-2 is a Pen Paper Based Exam.

SSC CHSL 2016 Exam Pattern

The candidates need to appear for a Computer Based Test (CBT) in the Tier-1 of the examination. The computer based test is the modification that has been made this year. Commission has introduced Tier-2 Descriptive Test in the Scheme.

Tier-1 Computer Based Objective Test

  • There are 4 sections in the objective test i.e. General Intelligence, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness.
  • There are 25 questions for each section
  • The maximum marks for each section is 50
  • There is negative marking of 0.5 marks for each wrong answer
  • The Questions are available in both Hindi and English for other 3 sections except English

Tier-2 Descriptive Test

  • Tier-2 is a descriptive paper of 100 marks with a time duration of 1 hour
  • Exam is a Pen and Paper based
  • The paper comprises of writing an Essay and Letter/Application writing
  • The minimum qualifying marks in tier-2 is 33 percent

Tier-3 Exam

  • Skill/Typing Test
  • The final merit would be based on the total score of tier1 and tier2

SSC CHSL Re-Exam Admit Card 2016

SSC has made the admit card available for the candidates on 28th December, 2016. The admit card are available region-wise from the regional website or from the official website. If your admit card is not available on the website then it can be collected from the regional offices. SSC CHSL Exam Admit Card can be downloaded by entering the Registered ID No. , Date of Birth and by selecting the Exam Center Code.

SSC 10+2 Exam Admit Card has all the details about the exam venue, exam time, reporting time and exam date.

It is compulsory for the candidate to carry an original and a photocopy of the Photo Identity Proof.
