Great news for the patiently- awaiting aspirants of UP TGT and PGT exams.  UP TGT PGT ADMIT CARD The Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Service Selection Board (UPSESSB) has released the UP TGT PGT 2011 Hall Ticket for the   exams that were notified way back in 2011, on 07/06/2016 and also has notified for another 9568 posts for UP TGT PGT 2016 exams. The UP TGT PGT 2011 exam is being conducted to fill 1479 TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) vacancies and 393 PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) posts.

The exam was mired in controversies since its conception and the Allahabad High Court has stayed the exam conduction as the then UPSESSB recruitment board didn’t have enough quorums out of its prescribed 10 members. There were writs filed alleging that the recruitment is not being done as per the rules. There were attempts to conduct the exam in 2013 but turned out to be unsuccessful. The high court withdrew the stay in 2015. Finally, the ban was lifted in 2015.

The TGT PGT Hall Ticket 2011 will be sent 15 days prior to the examination. If the UP TGT PGT Admit Card isn’t sent, the candidates can download it from the UPSESSB website (www.upsessb.org). One can find one’s Admit Card using various identifications as Roll Number or Date of Birth or Father’s/Husband’s name

SELECTION PROCEDURE:

The Selection procedure includes the written test, followed by an interview. The division of marks is as followed:-

1. I) 85 % of the marks for the written test
2. ii) 10 % of marks for the interview

iii) 5 % for special qualifications like Ph.D., M.ED, Teacher, Sports quota.

The Exam Schedule is as follows:

1. i) PGT exam – 15^th June 2016

Ii) TGT exam – 16-17^th June 2016.

CENTRES FOR EXAMINATION:

The UP TGT PGT 2011 exam is being conducted in 11 centers across the state of Uttar Pradesh.  Those are Agra, Allahabad, Kanpur, Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Moradabad, Bareilly, Meerut, Lucknow, Varanasi and Faizabad.

EXAM PATTERN:

The exam pattern depends on the subject chosen by the PGT & TGT candidates.

And here’s more! The board has freshly notified another 9568 posts for the year of 2016. Not just the TGT and PGT posts, there are 612 posts for the post of Principals.

ELIGIBILITY:

1. i) Should be above 21 years.

Ii) Post Graduate Teachers – Post Graduate degree in related subjects and B.ED.

Trained Graduate Teachers: – Graduate degree from a recognized university with relevant subjects and B.ED and BTC certificate.

The Exam Schedule is tentatively decided as:

15^th December 2016 for PGT posts; September or October 2016 for the TGT Posts.

A detailed Exam Schedule is expected to be released along with the issue of UP TGT PGT Admit Card 2016. The exam pattern will also be mentioned.  The TGT and PGT exams will be conducted on different days. So, the candidates eligible can apply for both the posts. The UP TGT Admit Card 2016, UP PGT Admit Card 2016 is expected to be dispatched or put on the website of the board at least 15 days prior to their respective examination dates.
