The UPSC CDS 2 Admit Card 2016 or CDS 2016 Hall Ticket will be issued by the Union Public Service Commission in the month of September 2016 for the exam which is scheduled to be conducted on 23rd October, 2016.
CDS 2 Admit Card 2016- Will be Available Soon:
The candidates will be able to download the UPSC CDS Admit Card 2016 from the official website but direct link will also be hosted on this page and will be updated as soon as UPSC issue the admit card. Applicants will be required to enter their details like Registration ID and Date of Birth or Roll Number and Date of Birth or Candidate’s Name, Father’s Name and Date of Birth. All the candidates should note that the UPSC will not be sending CDS 2 admit card 2016 by post. The candidates have to download it from the official website.
The UPSC had earlier released the official notification and has invited applications from the candidates who are eligible for the admission to the Defense academies i.e. Indian Naval Academy, Indian Military Academy (IMA), Air Force Academy and Officers Training Academy Courses.
The application process is going on and candidates can apply online on or before 12th August, 2016 till 11:59 pm. The eligible candidates who filled the forms before the deadline will be issued UPSC CDS 2 Call Letter 2016 around 3 weeks before the exam.
The exam is scheduled to be conducted on 23rd October and result for the written test will be declared in the month of January 2017. The qualified candidates who will be able to secure the minimum qualifying score will be called for the interview and then the final result will be declared in the month of June. UPSC CDS 2 Exam Pattern 2016
As per UPSC CDS 2 Exam Pattern 2016, the written exam for the Indian Military Academy Naval Academy & Air Force Academy posts will have objective type, multiple choice questions. Where the candidate is required to choose the correct option from the four options given. There will be 3 sections i.e. English, General Knowledge, and Elementary Mathematics and each section will comprise of 100 marks.
The UPSC CDS 2 Exam Pattern 2016 for Officers’ Training Academy posts will also consists of objective type questions but there will be two sections i.e. English and General Knowledge containing 100 marks each. Equal maximum marks will be allotted to the written examination and to the Interview.
