Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has released a notification recently
regarding the organization of the VIT Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) 2016. The exam will be a gateway for students from all over the country to obtain admission in one of the undergraduate engineering courses offered by VIT at its campuses located in Chennai and Vellore. Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) holds a national level test known as the VIT Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) every year for the selection of students to enter the different undergraduate engineering programs available at VIT Chennai and VIT Vellore. The applications for the exam have been released for this year, and the forms submitted. 5,000 students will be admitted into the programs, chosen from amongst almost 2 lakh applicants. VITEEE 2016 Admit Card Download:
VITEEE 2016 is scheduled to be held between the 6th and 17th of April of 2016, and students from all over India have applied to appear in it. VITEEE 2016 Admit cards are provided to candidates so that they are allowed entrance into the examination hall only after verification of their identity. Applicants will not be permitted to appear in the test unless the produce the admit card, and should, therefore, remember to carry it on the date of examination. Online applicants must safely save the user-ID and password after submission of their application. These details will allow them to download the VITEEE 2016 admit card as soon as it is available on the official website. Those who applied offline will receive their admit cards through post.

VITEEE 2016 Exam Pattern:
The examination will be carried out online, and will comprise Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The exam will be completed in two and a half hours. 40 questions will be asked from each subject, viz. Physics, Chemistry and Math. A right answer will earn one mark each, a wrong answer will not be subjected to negative marking.
The admit cards for the exam will be available soon after the closing of applications, and you can download it online for maintaining a hard copy that you can carry to the exam canter when you appear for the test.
