The VITEEE 2016 will be conducted from 6th April till 17th of April and the aspiring candidates who have successfully completed the registration process for the exam must have already booked their slots for the CBT visiting the www.vit.ac.in portal directly.

VITEEE 2016 Exam Review and Paper Analysis:

The VIT University conducts the VIT Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) for offering admission to 15 different undergraduate engineering programs under the university. The university has two campuses, in Chennai and Vellore and the admission to both of these campuses are strictly conducted according to the merit list of the VITEEE. According to the VITEEE 2016 Exam Review there are around 5,000 seats for different B.Tech programs under the university and this year around 2 lakh students will be appearing for the test.

The VITEEE 2016 Exam slot booking

The application form for VITEEE 2016 was available both online and offline from November 25, 2015 and the softcopy of the admit card was also available for download from the portal after the booking of the slot by the students. The students were required to book their Computer Based Test (CBT) slots between 18th and 20th March, 2016. The slots for the VITEEE 2016 were available on first come, first serve basis.

VITEEE 2016 6th April Exam review

6th April being the first date of the CBT slot for VITEEE 2016 the anxiety amongst the aspirants appearing for the test is obviously high. As per the VITEEE 2016 Exam Review all the questions on the slot of 6th April will be of objective type and the selection of the subject pattern (Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics or Biology) will depend on the slot booking of the particular student. Candidates appearing for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics will be eligible for all the 15 B.Tech programs under the university. Whereas students taking the Physics, Chemistry and Biology tests will be eligible only for Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering (spec. Bioinformatics) and Biotechnology courses under the university.

As noted from the VITEEE 6 April Exam Review each of the parts will include 40 questions and the English section will have 5 questions of 1 mark each. Hence the exam will be of total 125 marks and there will be no negative marking in VITEEE 2016. According to the VITEEE 2016 Paper Analysis all the questions in the exam will be asked from the CBSE +2 and State Board Higher Secondary Education syllabus. Hence the students, who have religiously prepared for their boards, are sure to have an upper hand in the test.

VITEEE 2016 6th April Paper Analysis

While the Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology papers will include topics right from the syllabus of the State Board and CBSE, the English section will include questions to test the comprehension ability of the students. As per the VITEEE 2016 Exam Review apart from comprehension, the English section will also test the English grammar and pronunciation related knowledge of the students.

As noted by VITEEE 2016 Exam Review the time allotted for each of the sessions will be of 02.30 hrs and the Session I will start from 9.00am in the morning and the Session III will end at 6.30pm. The tentative date of the result is April 29, 2016.
