All these three are English proficiency tests administered to the prospective students who wish to study further and gain a Masters degree. While IELTS (International English Language Testing System) and TOEFL ( Test Of English as a Foreign Language) are more popular for taking English proficiency tests the third one i.e. PTE Pearson Test Of English) is relatively newer. It’s also interesting to note that while IELTS uses more British /Australian as a question format while TOEFL and PTE uses more of American English.
